Euro-Africa organising committee is honored to announce and continue the success of the second edition of Euro-Africa wich will held in Grand Nile Tower Hotel, Cairo , Egypt from 8-11 February 2024, organised in collaboration with our colleagues from the Egyptian Society of Critical Care and Emergency Medicine (ESCCEM).
During the last 2 decades, research in the intensive care field has increased leading to a large improvement in the treatment and the outcome of patients. Our objective is to provide participants with an up-to-date review of the most recent developments in research and management of the critically ill and help our friends and colleagues in Africa to upgrade their knowledge and practice to help in the outcome of our patients.
The main topics of EuroAfrica will be revisiting the clinical practices, new technologies and drugs, as well as – and very importantly – the current initiatives to deal with new normal- the pandemic and post pandemic scenario of critical care. Also including all the latest breaking trials and innovations that will be discussed in depth during the event involving different fields contributing to intensive care research. Hence, we believe that EuroAfrica will represent a major platform for promoting and advancing the intensive care & emergency medicine in its dynamic field.

WHO WE ARE
The Egyptian Society of Critical Care and Emergency Medicine (ESCCEM) is a non-profit medical organization dedicated to promoting excellence and consistency in the practice of critical care for critical care practitioners, nurses and paramedical.
The Society offers a variety of activities that ensure excellence in patient care, education, research and advocacy for all components of the critical care.
Membership in ESCCEM offers numerous opportunities for professional and personal growth aiming to improve the standard of care and advocate community awareness about critical and intensive care.
ESCCEM is a reliable reference for all health practitioners and their departments to provide leadership and will commit time and resources to accomplish its objective, focusing particularly on increasing participation of its members in different education training, workshops and clinical studies across Egypt.

Securing the highest quality care for all critically ill and injured patients is our goal. The society will benefit through its membership to the WFSCICM to collaborate with the other society to exchange knowledge and experiences which will have a direct effect on the quality and scope of its members.
Vision
The Egyptian critical society is a community of people involved in critical care practice who value critical thinking and focus on improving the practice and knowledge to those who practice. The society continuous improvement, is its distinguishing characteristic emphasizing on thinking as the key to the emancipation of the mind, to the creation of high standard practices in all aspect and subdivision of the specialty.
